Back to School

For a few years now ALDI has been putting the fun into going back to school through an integrated campaign which features the adventures of AL & DI.
Last year we created a series of animated TVCs featuring AL & DI going back in time, escaping dinosaurs and mummies, as they collected all the Special Buys goodies for the school year ahead.

For the 2019 campaign I was tasked with taking the campaign further by introducing another era for AL & DI to continue their adventures and feature ALDI's range of fresh produce. I thought where better than to take them to Ancient Rome with its decadence and overflowing bowls of fruit often seen at Caesar's side (and of course a bit of mischief for them as always). 
I worked with the team at Mighty Nice and Otis Studios to create a fun and engaging TVC. This theme then continued into further channels such as Facebook, the ALDI website and the weekly catalogue. 

 

Another addition to this year's campaign was the creation of animated OOH screens.
I worked with the BMF studio to create these short and fun animations.

I had alot of fun creating this range of work.
