Hello.

I’m Duncan MacArthur, a Sydney based Designer and Art Director.

I’ve been in the advertising and design industry for the past 13 years, starting from humble beginnings in a small design studio on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and now working at BMF Sydney.

 

I began work at LPN Design in March 2008 as a Junior Designer working on O’Brien Glass, Fuji Xerox, Yates and Selleys. In this fast paced role, I developed a strong foundation in design, prepress, print production and website management. After a 10 month period with LPN, I was ready for the big world of advertising and agency life, joining BMF Sydney in January 2009. 

 

I started at BMF as a Finished Artist in the studio working across ALDI, Commonwealth Bank and Expedia. Through consistent hard work and a willingness to grow further, I was then promoted to Art Director on ALDI in June 2013.
Since then I have been predominately working on their weekly catalogue, creating artwork for a wide range of themes including; fashion, appliances, furniture, food and alcohol advertising in both print and digital.
